Tostada Shells Recipe

Sharing a pretty simple recipe, it’s raw, plant based, easy to digest, just a few ingredients. It’s gluten, corn and soy free!


  • 1½ cup raw buckwheat groats, soaked overnight and rinsed (after soaking they will have doubled in volume, use all)

  • 1 large carrot

  • 1 cup flax seeds soaked in 1 C water for 1 hr

  • ½ tsp salt



  • Grind the carrot with “S” blade in food processor. Scrape it into a large bowl,

  • Pulse buckwheat in the food processor till somewhat ground, place in the large bowl,

  • Αdd other ingredients and mix well,

  • Spread the mixture onto a non-stick dehydrator sheet,

  • Dehydrate at 109 degree F for about 16 hours, shell should be very dry!
